BEHIND THE LENS

My passions include my three fabulous daughters and wife, fast cars, traveling abroad, a good whiskey and the joy of photography. Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, I moved to Renton, Washington at the age of eight. My love of photography started with my first photograph, which was taken on my dad's Olympus camera when I was eighteen. This ignited a passion and again by my wife many years later.

I love photography as it captures a moment in time, the feelings from that moment and when done well, the image tells the story of a person's life. Whether it's real estate photography or lifestyles portraits, bringing that story to life in an image is what inspires me to pick up a camera every day.
